Curriculum
Determined for each student's needs and skill level
A number of formal books are used, most common for guitar are Mel Bay or the
Hal Leonard series
Guitar chords utilizing chord charts, beginning with 21 basic major, minors,
and sevenths, expanding into hundreds of variations
Techniques taught are contemporary, jazz, folk, rock, classical, all styles
Application includes songwriting, technique execution, performance, etc.
Scheduling
Lessons are a half hour long
Each month is scheduled in advance
Give 48 hour notice if you cannot attend your scheduled time to avoid being
charged the normal lesson fee (not withstanding family emergency or planned
vacation, etc.)
Time slot is held unless lessons are canceled. Time slots cannot be guaranteed
for more than three weeks missed.
Payment
$25 for half hour lesson
Pay for lessons monthly in advance
Make payments to Daniel Rodan Weikert via check, money order, cash
Lesson fee of $25 for lessons canceled less than 48 hours in advance
For a lesson canceled in advance, there is a $10 hold on the time slot

Rodan Weikert is one of the premier guitar instructors in the tri-state area. He has been teaching music for over 10 years, on the elementary, high school, university level, privately and corporately. He has studied, played, and performed professionally for 17 years. He has worked with three Grammy winners, received regional and national press and radio play, produced and recorded numerous music releases. He has spoken, taught, played, and received awards at numerous industry conferences and conventions.
